We use only pure virgin PTFE direct from the manufacturer.

STIRRER BAR MAGNETS
- Mastco has the most comprehensive range of stirrer bar magnets available on the market today.
- We only use Alnico V or Rare Earth permanent magnet core.
- Quality is assured by Isostatically encapsulating in pure virgin PTFE.
CARE OF STIRRER MAGNETS
To prevent demagnetization, stirring bars using Alnico Magnets should not be stored in random mass but paired. Avoid dropping stirrer bar magnets on hard surfaces.

PTFE VALVES AND CONNECTORS
The solid PTFE rod has a tapered end. The steel core version can be bent into a permanent shape.
SCREW LOCKING SYSTEMS
Mastco’s range of valves and connectors allow the assembly of a wide range of pipeline systems which are chemically inert and operate over a wide temperature range. Wetted parts are pure PTFE, lock nuts are talc filled polypropylene and grips are VITON.
Screw locking valves and connectors are for use with rigid or semi-rigid tubing in Glass, PTFE, or FEP. This provides a system that will withstand vacuum (10-1mmHg) and pressure (4 Bar).
Valves are not recommended for use in applications where rapid temperature changes occur (20-30°C).

PTFE sleeves are inserted between standard ground glass joints to eliminate the use of grease and prevent sticking. Sleeves have a wall thickness of about 0.05mm and will withstand low to medium vacuum.

RIGID SLEEVES AND ADAPTERS FOR GLASS JOINTS
For lubrication-free, high vacuum seals using standard ground glass joints. Rigid sleeves and adapters will withstand high vacuum – leakage rate less than 1 x 10-4 torr, litre, sec.-1. High vacuum performance is obtained using transverse trapezoidal sealing rings on the contacting surfaces. These rings compress on assembly to give liquid and gas tight seals.
